If you've been to Austin Texas, you might recognized Jo's Coffee and her graffiti wall.

She painted it...not me...although this image might suggest a can of paint freshly used on the green wall.

In this shot, I was going for the romantic.

On the Port Isabel side of the causeway from South Padre Island, stands an inlet where shrimp boats can dock. Fish and shrimp can be unloaded and the fishermen can take a break from being out at sea.

This image is called repairing the nets. I use inks as watercolors, this one on canvas.

We call strip shopping center restaurants "hole in the wall" places...kind of a tribute to cowboy bandits who'd have off the beaten path (hole in the canyon wall) hideouts. They are a little hard to find, but because they lease in a strip center they can offer an affordable meal because they aren't paying a fortune in overhead. I assume that Venezia Italian Ristorante falls perfectly in that category.

We've been looking for such a place for several months. We love comfort food at a decent price. Who wants to pay $50 for lunch anyway? $10-15 per person is much more reasonable, especially if the place is good. We liked Venezia.

Try it out. Just north of I-40 on Sooner Road in Del City.

I call this "Night Ghosts - Nashville". I know this city has its Ghosts, I may have captured one streaking through.

Visiting Nashville, I used my iPhone to get a shot of this Catholic Church at dusk. Some sort of artifacts of light were picked up in the shot on the right side of the image. It seemed a ghost passing by in the night.

I worked the shot to bring out the tangles of wires across the dying sky. I left the artifact alone. I brought the church out of the darkness and colored the streets.

This image is available printed on watercolor paper, signed $125, framed $199. Prices subject to change.
